tie and I are both currently in the middle of renovations and will have some great before and after images to share with you soon. As with any renovation, buy viagra without prescription I have become completely obsessed with unimportant details, such as wall clocks. The obsession started when a designer friend suggested one be used instead of art in a client’s home, and now I want them everywhere. So… here are a few.

If you have been following, you might remember this project discussed here and here. These are the dining room options that were presented. It has become a total mix of the two, and I am so excited to complete this space! I will tell you that we have chosen white walls and the gorgeous lighting fixture from Scheme 2. And we are going to complete our own reupholstery job for the dining chairs. It is so difficult to find reasonably priced dining chairs that are up to par!!

All lighting from Jonathan Adler. Chairs from Anthropologie, Wisteria, and Restoration Hardware. Dining table is client’s own. Scheme 2 rug is Safavieh. Window treatments are custom.
I am having trouble finding any information about Lostine except they are based in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania, they make beautiful objects, and Martha Stewart likes them as well. Thankfully Anthropologie picked them up and is offering these sycamore wood, leather, and milk paint cutting boards. They would substitute nicely for art in a kitchen. Especially since they ARE art! Duh.

This is one of my favorite color schemes (although I will probably say that every week.) The key to keeping this look comfortable to live in is layering the hues and tones of the greens and blacks. The variation will keep this combination from becoming too strict. Reddish and lighter wood tones along with GOLD can really warm things up and bring in a bit of earthy-ness.

Blacks and grays are a go-to in the kitchen, but the addition of green feels very fresh while remaining timeless. Green is one of the few colors that I do not grow tired of. I would really enjoy curling up in that green velvet chair, drinking coffee, staring at my amazing floor, while bacon sizzles on top of the stove of my dreams. Sounds like a great morning. Agree?

OK. I am not a jeweler, so I have no idea what you really need. But this works, right? And I would carry that rug around the world and back. Like three times.
*Note: Regardless of your profession, green is perfect for an office or studio. It promotes creativity and concentration.
